On Saturday, November 8, Adelaide Metro will provide free travel on all buses, trains, and trams from 6am to 2pm to support families attending the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant.
The initiative, returning in 2025, aims to make it easier for thousands of South Australians to attend the southern hemisphere’s largest public street parade. Last year, the event attracted over 300,000 spectators.
“Adelaide Metro is so pleased to provide free public transport to help children and families get to the city for the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant,” said spokesperson Michelle Spagnoletti.
“We’ll have additional services running on the day, so hop on board and leave the car at home.”
To ensure safety, several road closures and temporary bus stop changes will be implemented across the CBD during the event.
Summary: Adelaide Metro offers free and extra public transport services on November 8 to ease travel for families attending the region's largest Christmas Pageant, enhancing safety and convenience.
