Netflix has released the first five minutes of the highly anticipated Stranger Things Season 5, taking viewers back to the moment Will Byers first disappeared in Season 1.
The teaser does not reveal much about the new season's storyline but revisits key events at the Hawkins Library in the Upside Down, where Will went missing and was later found by his mother, Joyce, and Police Chief Jim Hopper.
Season 5 will continue 18 months after the previous season’s events. It opens with 12-year-old Will Byers, exhausted and confused, trapped in the Upside Down.
Will sings The Clash’s "Should I Stay or Should I Go" to himself, a song introduced by his brother in Season 1, symbolizing hope and connection.
"The song here is important for Will and acts as a reminder for the audience, as it is the track introduced to the teen by his brother in Season 1."
Suddenly, strange noises cause Will to pause. The Demogorgon crashes into his castle, forcing Will to shoot the creature with a hunting rifle and climb a tree to escape.
Despite his efforts, the Demogorgon finds him and throws him to the ground.
Summary: The new teaser for Stranger Things Season 5 revisits Will Byers's disappearance, emphasizing key emotional moments and setting the stage for the final season.
