New Waterford Expands
The small community of New Waterford is embracing forward progress and business expansion.
Village council passed an ordinance for the annexation of village-owned land to serve as an industrial park on the west side of the village.
“That’s a big step in the vision we have for an industrial park on the west side of the village,”
said New Waterford Mayor Shane Patrone. The village is looking to annex 8.238 acres from Unity Township situated on Hatcher Road.
Columbiana County Commissioners accepted the annexation petition recently.
A new memorial area at the New Waterford park has also been established.
