BlueLinx Acquires Disdero Lumber Company
BlueLinx Holdings Inc., a wholesale distributor of building products, announced the acquisition of Disdero Lumber Co., LLC, a specialty products distributor, from Tumac Lumber Company, Inc.
Disdero, operating since 1953 and based in Clackamas, Oregon, is a value-added distributor of premium specialty wood products.
The aggregate purchase price was approximately $96 million, with a net transaction value of approximately $88 million after adjusting for estimated tax benefits.
The acquisition was funded with cash on hand and is not expected to change the Company’s strong liquidity position and low net leverage ratio.
