Newcastle's Christmas Lights Switch On Event
The countdown to Christmas begins with Newcastle's highly anticipated lights switch on event, hosted by radio stars Steve Furnell and Karen Oxley.
Events will take place on Grainger Street on Thursday, November 6, starting at 6pm with fun activities such as songs, games, live music, and a special visit from Santa before the big reveal at 7pm.
As
Hits Radio 90s presenters, Steve and Karen, will host the Newcastle City Council event for a 13th consecutive year, the Lord Mayor of Newcastle, Coun Henry Gallagher, expressed his delight to be joining them on stage to start the Christmas celebrations.
