Amazon Layoffs: 14,000 Corporate Employees Affected
Amazon has confirmed that 14,000 corporate employees will be laid off as part of major organizational changes, with AI innovation being a factor in reducing staff roles.

Beth Galetti, senior vice president of People Experience and Technology at Amazon, stated this in a letter to employees, explaining the reason behind the layoffs.
Employees were informed on Tuesday whether they would be let go, with leaders communicating with affected teams and individuals.
