Late Aster's "City Livin'" Brings Back 90s Vibes
Late Aster, a San Francisco-based electronic duo, has released their debut LP "City Livin'" on October 24.
The duo, comprised of classically-trained musicians Aaron Messing and Anni Hochhalter, blends genres like lo-fi, hip-hop, and electronic to create a dreamlike, nostalgic soundscape.

Their use of a TASCAM Portastudio 414 MKII, a 4-track cassette recorder from the late 90s, gives every song an omnipresent "fuzz" that captures a lo-fi sound that is authentic and enthralling.
