Expansion of Oyster Shell Recycling Program
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Coastal Resources Division (CRD) has expanded its oyster shell recycling program with the opening of two new public centers and the refurbishment of an existing site in Savannah.
As part of the multi-partner We Recycle Shell initiative, new recycling centers are now open at the North River Boat Ramp in Camden County and the South Newport River Boat Ramp in McIntosh County.
