Alternative to Spraying for Scotch Broom in Sooke
A letter to the editor suggests replacing community efforts to eradicate Scotch broom with massive spraying of Glyphosate, also known as Roundup.
The use of Glyphosate/Roundup is banned in organic farming everywhere.
The author of the original letter, N.E. MacNab, believes Glyphosate is safe and biodegradable, despite it no longer being sold in the U.S.
