Furusato Takes Maiden Moto3 Victory at Sepang
Moto3's Grand Prix was delayed due to an incident during the sighting lap involving Noah Dettwiler and Jose Antonio Rueda.
Both riders were taken to hospital by medical helicopter, causing the race start to be pushed back until the helicopter's return.
Rueda was confirmed to be alert and awake in hospital with contusions and a suspected hand fracture.
CIP Green Power stated: "Our rider Noah Dettwiler was involved in a serious accident... He will need to undergo multiple surgeries. He is in good hands, and we kindly ask you to respect his privacy."
