National Sheep Association celebrates two more prize draw winners

National Sheep Association Celebrates Prize Draw Winners

The National Sheep Association (NSA) has announced the latest winners of its 2025 prize draw, run in partnership with Rurtec Ltd.

Each month, UK sheep farmers have the chance to win a Lanati Astron cordless handpiece kit, designed to make shepherding tasks easier.

August's Winner: Ryan Came Johnson

Ryan Came Johnson from Devon manages 200 commercial ewes and pedigree Blue Texels and Bluefaced Leicesters on 80 acres of rented land. He farms part-time while working as Area Manager at Corteva Agriscience.

We dag ewes as soon as they’ve lambed, before they head out with their lambs. This kit will make the task quick and easy.

September's Winner: Jane Chapman

Jane Chapman from Derbyshire runs a small upland holding breeding Beef Shorthorn cattle and Derbyshire Gritstone sheep. She looks forward to using her new handpiece to prepare ewes for tupping and appreciates the NSA’s work.

Author's summary: NSA announces prize draw winners for August and September.
