Goldies Volvo steals the show at Stirling Limousin Sale, achieving 36,000gns and leading a flying trade across top herds nationwide.
A flying trade for Limousins saw Goldies Volvo take the top price over all the breeds at Stirling at 36,000gns from Bruce Goldie and family’s Goldies herd, Townfoot, Dumfries.
The sale saw 39 bulls sold averaging £9329 – an increase of £3026 on the year with one more sold.
Having taken pre-sale champion, the April 2024-born Goldies Volvo is bred from the home-bred dam Goldies Pleasure which goes back to Goldies Juggler.
Volvo’s sire is the bull Ampertaine Opportunity, the same sire responsible for 70,000gns sale topper at Carlisle last weekend.
Having placed first in his class at the Highland Show, Volvo heads to Yorkshire after being knocked down to Garrowby Farms.
