Reflections on a Quick Trip
Last week, I took a quick trip to Denver to visit my parents and spend time with loved ones. The trip was a whirlwind, lasting less than 18 hours, but it was a valuable use of my time.
I traveled from Casper to Laramie, then on to Colorado, taking in the scenery of the Shirleys, where hunters were out in force. The hills were dotted with hunters, their ATV trailers left behind as they scouted and stalked their prey.
Where the bluffs meet the sky
Watching the hunters, I was struck by their focus and determination. They were in their element, taking cover in the scrub and sage, hopeful of landing a trophy.
