Power Shutdowns Scheduled Across Kashmir
The Chief Engineer, Distribution KPDCL, has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns across various parts of Jammu Kashmir.
The shutdowns are intended to facilitate maintenance and ensure uninterrupted power supply in the long term.
- A shutdown of the 33 KV Pampore-Pulwama line will affect Newa, Kakapora, and LIS Marvel Stage I–IV receiving stations.
- Power supply to Kakapora, Pahoo, Nehama, Kakapora Railway, Newa, Gadoora, Zadoora, Parigam, Narbal, and adjoining areas will be suspended.
The scheduled shutdowns will occur on October 30, and November 2, 6, and 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 03:30 PM.
