Former Tema West MP, Irene Naa Torshie Addo, paid tribute to the late former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.
Naa Torshie described her as
“one of Ghana’s most courageous daughters and transformative leaders”and noted that her loss was both personal and national.
She reflected on Nana Konadu, saying
“Her loss is not only personal to many of us who admired her strength, but also national, for Ghana has lost one of its most courageous daughters and transformative leaders”.
Naa Torshie also stated that she learned from Nana Konadu that
“leadership demands courage — the courage to stand for what is right, to speak when silence is convenient, and to act when others hesitate”.
