The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has paused an earlier decision, adding another delay to the president's desired deployment of National Guard troops to Portland.
"This means for now, both our TROs preventing National Guard deployment remain in effect,"
Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield said. The pause was made by Senior Circuit Judge Sidney R. Thomas in a two-sentence order, which reverses the previous order from Monday that sided with the federal administration's effort to deploy hundreds of National Guard troops to Portland.
