Indonesia to Introduce 10% Ethanol Fuel Mandate by 2027

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, plans to introduce a mandate for the use of oil with a 10% ethanol content by 2027 to reduce Indonesia's gas imports.

"In 2027, we will mandate the mixing of our gasoline with E10 up to E20,"

said Bahlil at the Mining and Energy Anniversary Ceremony. This step aims to create energy sources from plants and establish energy sovereignty to reduce Indonesia's gas imports.
