Forever Canadian Petition
A petition, led by former Progressive Conservative cabinet minister Thomas Lukaszuk, aims to collect signatures in support of Alberta remaining in Canada.
The petition, which asks "Do you agree that Alberta should remain in Canada?", requires 293,976 in-person signatures to be considered for a province-wide referendum.
Rumors suggest that the campaign has already collected over 300,000 signatures, thanks to the efforts of more than 4,000 volunteers.
