July 2025 New York Bar Exam Results

Out of 9,931 candidates, 6,976 passed the exam, resulting in an overall passing rate of 70%.

A statement from Li Lu reads:

Matthew Diller, professor of law and dean emeritus at Fordham University School of Law, noted:

Our whole system of structuring representation and counsel and the provision of legal services in this country leaves out a massive number of people.

Applications are now being accepted for the spring 2026 semester of the MSL in labor and employment law, which offers in-depth legal knowledge without requiring a J.D.
