Fujitsu has launched a new laptop, the FMV Note A77-K3, which features a Blu-ray drive, a component most vendors have abandoned years ago.
The laptop is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7735U and includes modern specifications such as a 16-inch WUXGA display, 16GB of RAM (upgradeable to 64GB), and a 512GB SSD.
The real eyebrow-raiser is the BDXL-compatible Blu-ray drive, complete with Super Multi-Drive support.
This move by Fujitsu highlights Japan's lingering affection for Blu-rays.
