Watershed Coffee Roasters Reaches Bend
With an in-house roasting operation, Bend, Oregon-based Watershed Coffee Roasters is finding its flow.
Previously known as Looney Bean Coffee, the downtown cafe has new signage, merchandise, and retail packaging reflecting the new name, along with a steady supply of on-site roasted coffees using a Valenta 7 electric fluid-bed roaster.
Customers can watch the roasting process behind a live-edge counter, with juniper wood slabs from a local sawmill used for the workbench surfaces in the roastery, fitting the rustic vibes of the longstanding local haunt.
