Election Day: How and Where to Vote
On election day, Edmontonians will head to the polls to elect their next mayor and council.
To participate, you must be 18 years old or older, a Canadian citizen, and live in Edmonton on election day, with that location listed as your place of residence.
Voters can find their polling station by inputting their address into the election guide tool, which also helps determine their ward.
Those undecided on who to vote for can take the Taproot survey to see which candidates they align with.
- Voters must show identification at the voting station, such as an Alberta driver's licence or another form of authorized identification.
- Voting stations are open from 9am to 8pm.
- Those who missed the deadline to register online can still register or update information at their assigned voting station.
