Scottish Liberal Democrats on Verge of Historic Breakthrough
Alex Cole-Hamilton, the Scottish Lib Dem leader, stated that his party is nearing a historic breakthrough in the upcoming Holyrood elections in May.
Cole-Hamilton emphasized that the Liberal Democrats will offer voters both "hope" and a "realistic plan" during his speech at the party conference in Glasgow on October 18.
Scottish Liberal Democrats secured £15 million more for GPs in the Scottish Budget this year, to alleviate some of the recruitment and retention issues that practices are struggling with right now, to make it easier for people to see a GP.
The party's main focus leading up to the elections includes training and recruiting staff such as nurses, mental health professionals, and physios.
