Single mum launches fundraiser to help save life of little rescue kitten

Single Mum Launches Fundraiser to Save Rescue Kitten

A fundraising appeal has been launched to help save the life of a little rescue kitten named Eden from Penketh, Warrington.

Eden was rescued by Leanne O'Neil at just six weeks old, after suffering severe head and eye trauma at his previous home.

"I got him to the vets and after a few nights, he was allowed back home, which no one thought would have happened with how poorly he was."

Now five months old, Eden was recently found lifeless at home and rushed to the vets, where he received emergency care.

"He's now 5 months old and he was found limp last week and lifeless in our home. He was rushed to the vets, where they managed to help us yet again! But we've been told he now needs life-saving surgery for a liver shunt."

The estimated cost of the surgery is around £4,000, which Leanne, a single mum, is unable to afford, prompting her to start a GoFundMe page to raise the necessary funds.
