Dr. Duane Sands Eyes Bamboo Town Nomination
FREE National Movement Chairman Dr. Duane Sands is considering the party's nomination for Bamboo Town, according to several sources.
Dr. Sands previously represented the Elizabeth constituency and ran for it on two other occasions, but has not confirmed nor denied the claims of shifting to Bamboo Town.
"I would not want to pre-judge their deliberation,"
he said when contacted by The Tribune. Members of the FNM's Bamboo Town association claim they were informed that Dr. Sands would be nominated for the area instead of Heather Hunt.
- Internal tensions continue to rise after former MP Renward Wells was denied the nomination.
