Evil Hamsters and the Worst Day of Your Life
The new film "If I Had Legs I'd Kick You" brings a comedic nightmare to the big screen, starring Rose Byrne.
Before the film's screening at the Toronto International Film Festival, Rose Byrne explained that to get in the proper mindset, the audience should imagine the worst day of their life or the worst thing that happened to them that day.
Hold that feeling, she said, and let it carry through the acerbic, tense and hilarious experience that will follow.
The Film's Plot
The film stars Rose Byrne as Linda, a mental health counsellor whose life is falling apart. The movie opens on an uncomfortable close-up of her face as a doctor chides her for not doing everything she can to help her daughter heal from a mystery illness.
As the scene is claustrophobic and uncomfortable, the film freefalls from there, with each turn or scene presenting a new obstacle for Linda to deal with.
