Open Farm Tours Completes Another Year
The annual Open Farm Tours, which provides the public with a glimpse into the lifeblood of Santa Cruz County, concluded on October 12.
This year's event, which took place on October 11-12, offered guests a deeper understanding of the inner workings of the Homeless Garden Project on the west side of Santa Cruz.
Open Farm Tours, now in its 12th year, opened the doors to 16 farms around the county, emphasizing agriculture, sustainability, and community.
The tour was divided into two parts, with south county farms welcoming visitors on Saturday and north county farms on Sunday.
