A digital speedometer has been introduced as part of a technology and safety update in Japan.
The 41-year-old Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series has beaten the Suzuki Jimny to adding this feature.
- The update includes new driver-assistance features to comply with local safety standards.
- Prices in Japan have risen by 8 to 16 per cent, depending on the model grade.
The update is expected to come to Australia early next year.
