Two men, Mel Miller and Floyd Taber, are running for the Osceola City Council at-large seat this November. Incumbent Jose Vargas is not seeking re-election, having been appointed to the council in 2023 to fill the seat left vacant by Missy Cline and reelected that fall.
The at-large position is a four-year term. Both candidates were given the same questions by the Osceola Sentinel-Tribune to respond to, with their responses appearing in alphabetical order.
