Country music fans are in a frenzy as George Strait hints at a 2026 announcement with a throwback festival poster.
Although Strait stepped back from long tours after his Cowboy Rides Away tour in 2014, he continues to perform on stage. Recently, he has been doing a limited number of shows, including performances with Chris Stapleton in 2024 and this year.
In 2024, Strait set records for the largest single-ticketed concert in U.S. history and at Texas A&M Kyle Field, with 110,905 attendees. This performance was one of only 10 live shows he had that year, which also included a stop at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for his 37th Strait to Vegas residency show.
