Cebu Pacific Takes Delivery of Its 13th A330neo

Philippine budget airline Cebu Pacific has expanded its widebody fleet with the arrival of its 13th Airbus A330neo aircraft, emphasizing its position as the largest A330neo operator in Asia.

The 459-seat aircraft arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport from Airbus’ facility in Toulouse, France, on November 2. It is the third of four A330neos scheduled for delivery this year, following those received on March 28 and July 18.

“This aircraft enables us to serve more passengers while keeping costs low, which is a key part of our mission to offer affordable fares for everyone,” said Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao.

Lao highlighted that the delivery further demonstrates the airline’s dedication to improving regional connectivity and maintaining cost-efficient operations.

The new A330neo has been deployed on the Manila–Puerto Princesa route with four weekly flights, while daily services between Manila and Bohol will begin on November 16.

The A330neo's configuration allows the carrier to operate efficiently on both high-demand domestic routes and longer regional or international flights, strengthening its operational flexibility and network capacity.
