Six people were wounded and one man died in three separate shootings across New York City on Sunday night, according to police reports. The violent incidents occurred in the Bronx and Queens, keeping investigators busy as they search for suspects.
At approximately 9 p.m., officers responded to an emergency call at a building located between East 142nd and East 143rd Streets on Brook Avenue in Mott Haven. They discovered three male victims, including a teenager, all injured by gunfire.
All three victims were taken to Lincoln Hospital and are reported to be in stable condition. Police confirmed that no arrests have been made and that the investigation is ongoing.
Roughly 20 minutes earlier, officers responded to another shooting inside a residence on 16th Road between 147th and 149th Streets in Whitestone, Queens.
Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where they remain in stable condition. A firearm was recovered at the scene, and detectives continue their investigation.
