Grimes Reaches 1,000 Points as Tech Women Dominate Cumberlands

Reghan Grimes needed just five points to join the 1,000-point club to start the season. Instead, she exploded for 24 points, leading all scorers as Tennessee Tech secured a 92-67 victory over the University of the Cumberlands at the Eblen Center.

Tennessee Tech shot nearly 50% overall, making 30 of 61 field goal attempts, 10 of 22 from three-point range, and 22 of 33 free throws. However, the team struggled with fouls, committing 33 in total. Seven players were close to fouling out, which allowed the visiting Patriots substantially more free-throw opportunities.
