Singer Tish Hyman stated that Gold’s Gym in Los Angeles terminated her membership after she confronted a man using the women’s locker room. She shared a video of the incident and described the events on social media.
Hyman, 42, explained that she had repeatedly submitted written complaints about a man entering the women’s locker room and harassing members, but the gym staff failed to act.
“I had repeatedly made written reports on this man for coming into our women’s locker room harassing us, and the gym staff has done absolutely nothing!!”
She described a heated encounter where the man followed her into the locker room and verbally abused her.
“He has disrespected me multiple times, and I’ve only been ignored when I quietly reported it. But today I made noise!! Today as I walked into the locker room he came in behind me and called me a b*tch in a deep angry voice. I RAN OUT INTO THE GYM SCREAMING THERE IS A MAN IN THE REST ROOM!!”
Hyman said men in the gym intervened after she called for help, which finally prompted the staff to respond.
In the video, the man is seen dressed in all black, engaging with another person before Hyman yells at him.
“Now he knows how to be a man, right? Stay outta the women’s locker room! He needs to have his gym membership revoked for that s–t!”
She also referenced previous complaints she made regarding his behavior.
Tish Hyman alleges she was unfairly removed from Gold’s Gym after speaking out about a man repeatedly harassing women by using the female locker room, with the gym initially ignoring her reports until public confrontation.
