Alan Carr has called his fellow contestants on Celebrity Traitors “thick” after none of them realized he was secretly eliminating them throughout the series. The comedian, currently in Florida ahead of the show’s finale, proudly declared himself “the most hated man in the UK” after orchestrating the exit of beloved figures Celia Imrie and his friend Paloma Faith on the BBC program.
Speaking to Heart Radio while visiting Universal Studios in Orlando with his niece and nephew, Alan joked about his notoriety:
“That’s why I’m in America. I’m the most hated man in Britain.”
He expressed surprise that none of the celebrity participants caught on to his role earlier:
“I’ve got loads of celebrity friends, but are they thick?”
Alan also revealed how he found humor in the darker moments of the show:
“I’m giggling when people are murdered. When they don’t come down for breakfast, I just stick cheese in my mouth.”
At 49, Alan admitted the experience has been both entertaining and exhausting:
“It’s stressful murdering every day… but I’m getting a taste for it.”
“I think he’s going to win. I’m going to say it now.”
Kate added Alan’s giggles might be what’s kept him safe.
Alan Carr’s cheeky and chaotic approach on Celebrity Traitors has baffled and amused both contestants and viewers, making him a strong contender for the win.
